When you create a Linkezz account, we collect your name, email address, and any profile information you choose to provide (photo, bio, location, custom links). As you interact with the platform, we collect data about your connections, events you post, and your custom aesthetic preferences (themes, fonts, colors).
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to operate Linkezz, personalize your immersive profile experience, facilitate connections between users, and send essential transactional emails (verification, password resets). We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
3. Public Information
Your profile identity—including display name, handle, bio, location, social links, and custom design choices—is publicly visible to provide your "link-in-bio" experience. Connection lists and public event posts are also visible to the Linkezz community. Your email address remains private and is never displayed publicly.
4. Connections & Interactions
When you request to connect with another user, we share your public profile with them to facilitate the request. Connection statuses and logs are stored to maintain your network. We do not monitor private interactions except to investigate reported violations of our community standards.
5. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time from your settings. Deletion permanently removes your profile, posts, and connection data within 30 days. Encrypted backups may retain data for up to 90 days for recovery purposes.
6. Third-Party Infrastructure
We use Firebase (Google) for secure authentication, database hosting, and file storage. Your data is managed on Firebase infrastructure subject to Google's Privacy Policy. We may use performance tracking tools like Sentry to ensure a smooth user experience.
7. Cookies & Local Storage
We use essential cookies and local storage to maintain your session and remember your theme preferences. We do not use advertising trackers or cross-site tracking cookies.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to access, export, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, please use the tools provided in your account dashboard or contact us directly.
9. Age Requirements
Linkezz is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has created an account, please report it to our team immediately.
